01 Day: Arrive Delhi
Assistance on arrival at Delhi International airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Delhi.
02 Day: Delhi
After breakfast tour of historic city visiting Old Delhi to see magnificent Red Fort, The Jama Masjid, India`s largest mosque, Rajghat - memorial of Mahatma Gandhi & a Rickshaw ride through the silver street in Chandani Chowk, Later New Delhi include Rashtrapati Bhawan, one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India’s leading industrial families; Humayun’s Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai’s Temple , Qutub Minar , built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. Return to the hotel for overnight at Delhi Hotel.
03 Day: Delhi – Jaipur (260 kms – 6 hours)
After early breakfast checkout and drive to Jaipur, on arrival transfer to the hotel. After relaxation take an excursion to Amber Fort – 11 kms, and enjoy elephant ride to ascend/ descend this great fort. Later visit to City Palace, Hawa Mahal (made for the ladies of Royal Family to see the processions from this Palace and without being seen from the people), and Jantar Mantar Observatory all within the vicinity of City Palace. Return to the hotel later afternoon. Later in the evening visit at Birla Temple of white marble, after wards at the time of dinner visit Chokhi Dhani - a 5 Star ethnic resort serving Rajasthani & Continental cuisine with live music, folk dances, camel ride and puppet shows in an ambiance of an ethnic village. Return to the hotel for overnight.
04 Day: Jaipur – Agra (230 kms - 5 hours)
After breakfast early checkout and drive to Agra, enroute sightseeing of Fatehpur Sikri the city built by Mughal Emperor Akbar, visit Bulund Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and Tomb of Shaikh Salim Chisti; continue and on arrival in Agra check-in at hotel. After lunch you visit Taj Mahal, Taj Mahal, the architectural modern day wonder of the world. The tour continues with a visit to the Agra Fort from where one can get the framed view of the Taj from the little octagonal tower in the Agra Fort which lies across the river Jamuna, followed by visit to Pearl Mosque and the Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Overnight in Agra hotel.
05 Day: Agra – Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho
After breakfast check out and transfer to the railway station to board train to Jhansi and upon arrival drive to Khajuraho visiting Orchha enroute. Rest of the day is free and overnight in Khajuraho.
06 Day: Khajuraho
After breakfast visit Western group of Temples consisting of the massive Laxman Temple dedicated to lord Vishnu, the Laxmi and Varaha temples dedicated to Vishnu’s consort Laxman, the Kandariya Mahadev Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Chausath Yogini temple dedicated to goddess Kali. Also visit Archaeological museum with its collection of stone sculptures of the Chandela dynasty. Later visit Eastern group of Temples and visit the Jain temples of Parsvanath, Adinath, and Shanti Nath. Also visit the temples of Vamana and Brahma/Hanuman both dedicated to lord Vishnu. Evening free and overnight at the hotel.
07 Day: Khajuraho - Varanasi (By Air)
After breakfast day free for individual activities, after noon transfer to airport to board the flight for Varanasi assistance on arrival in Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Relax for some time & take an excursion tour to Sarnath – 10 kms visit the deer park and Bodhi Tree where Lord Buddha preached his First Sermon. Drive back to Varanasi, evening free to relax. Overnight in Varanasi.
08 Day: Varanasi - Kathmandu (By Air)
Early morning boat ride on the Ganges at dawn when it is full of pilgrims is an amazing place to witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions. While on the boat you will also see the cremation ceremonies of dead bodies as per Hindi Rituals, later proceed on a tour of the temples of Varanasi visiting the Golden Temple dedicated to lord Shiva, the Durga temple dedicated to goddess Durga. Interestingly the Durga Temple is also known as the Monkey Temple due to the large number of monkeys found in the Temple premises, Return to the hotel for checkout and transfer to airport to board the flight for Kathmandu and on arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
09 Day: Kathmandu
Morning visit The Pashupatinath Temple, situated on the banks of River Baghmati around 8 km from the city, is one of the holiest Hindu shrines. Also visit Guheshwari Temple near Pashupatinath is considered as the place where Yoni of Shiva’s consort Sati fell when Lord Vishnu cut her into pieces. Later visit Boudhnath, which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Afternoons relax, and early evening visit Patan is a spiritual city with Durbar Square in the centre and many stupas, shikaras, and temples. Bhaktapur is again a royal city where most of the attractions revolve around Durbar Square and the Palace of 55 Windows. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
10 Day: Kathmandu –Pokhra (200 kms – 4 hours)
After breakfast checkout and drive to Pokhra, on arrival transfer to hotel. Later take a sight seeing tour of Pokhra, Pokhara is its center of adventure. An enchanting city nestled in a tranquil valley; it is the starting point for many of Nepal's most popular trekking and rafting destinations. The atmosphere on the shore of Phewa Lake is one of biggest attraction, after visiting Fehewa Lake, visit at vi Davis Falls, Binde Basini Temple, Mahindra Caves, and Seti George. Evening free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
11-Day Pokhra – Kathmandu (By Air)
After early breakfast checkouts and transfer to the airport at Pokhra to board the flight for Kathmandu and on arrival transfer to the hotel. Later take a sight seeing tour to Dulikel and enjoy air view in Kathmandu. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
12 Day: Kathmandu–Delhi (By Air) Delhi – Back home
After breakfast morning free to rest and relax. Later in the afternoon checkout and transfer to the airport to board the schedule flight for Delhi and upon arrival stay in transit to board flight back home.
